Dominator Festival 2023
Dominator gathers one of the biggest crowds of hardcore lovers in the world at Eersel’s beach this weekend. Ready to join as one of the 50.000 lucky visitors per day? People from all over the world march to the ‘Voyage of the Damned’, where DJs like Anime, Athena, Drokz, Korsakoff, Mad Dog, Ruffneck, The Darkraver, and many more show you what hardcore really means. Hardcore never dies!
PIV Festival
When a house music label takes the stage, you’re in for a good one. Catch Cinthie, East End Dubs, Kellie Allen, Kerri Chandler, and Prunk all playing their groovy and solid tunes next to many more. After a few successful editions of the festival overseas, the label comes home this weekend, so gear up to get down.
De Leuke Festival
Eleven hours of straight disco, pop, live acts, and hip-hop? ‘De Leuke’ means ‘the fun’, and with a name like that, you know what you have to do. David Vunk, Moody Mehran, Nedda Sou, Razzimic, and a lot of stage takeovers keep you dancing, while inflatables, fireworks, and glitters keep you entertained.
Festival De Achtertuin 2023
Escape the city for a lush, green festival day at the park. Festival De Achtertuin combines electronic music, art, and sustainability to create the most mysterious oasis to rave at in Rotterdam. The line-up is stacked with high-energy DJ’s like Bella, Mitch de Klein, Sandrien, and Secret Cinema, and the vibes are outdoorsy and laid back.
Intercell Outdoor: Summer Groove
Intercell takes its signature techno sound outdoors for a ‘summer groove’ rave at De Binnenplaats. You just know the tempo will be high, the BPMs will rise, and the sound quality will blow your mind. They invite acts like BAUGRUPPE90, the industrial brainchild of Louis Köhler and Paul Vogler, I-RO, and Daria Kolosova; a lineup that even Berghain would be jealous of.
NMNH Festival
‘NMNH’ stands for ‘never going home’, one of Europe’s most beloved house and (hard) techno beach festivals. The three stages at Scheveningen’s beach see acts like Berden, Cynthia Spiering, Job de Jong, and Kobosil give it all they’ve got this Saturday. Watching the sunset while they play your favorite tunes? We love to see it.
Knaltibal Festival 2023
Head all the way south to join Knaltibal on their day of outdoor fun, where Mental Theo, Natte Visstick, Outsiders, and a lot more keep you entertained. The theme is ‘carnival’, so expect glitters, fireworks, and A TON OF confetti.
Overbruggen Outdoor
Taking over from Intercell on Saturday is Amsterdam’s own Overbruggen on Sunday, where they celebrate their one-year anniversary as a collective. The lineup remains a secret for now, but if there’s one thing for certain it’s that Overbruggen always gathers people who love groovy music, and go there to dance their asses off.
