Rave XXL – Indoor Festival, 4 May

This week club Now&Wow in Maassilo (one of Rotterdam’s most underground venues) opens its doors for Rave XXL – Indoor Festival: a steaming hot and dark rave until the early hours. Expect in-your-face techno ranging from schranz to hard techno, minimal to acid. One thing’s for sure: the BPMs will rise!

It’s Dutch Liberation Day this week – go celebrate in style at Amsterdams Verbond. They’ll invite their own besties too: Chicago Social Club x Lovelee, Club Atelier x Hacienda, Club NYX x Disco Dolly, and Het Mokums Paradijs x Four x Waterkant all take over a stage and are joined by their musical mates. Liberté Liberté 2023, 5 May
Liberté Liberté returns to its home base Lofi! The open-minded ravers of organizer ZeeZout invite you to dance for freedom with them – not just for your own, but the freedom of those who don’t have it, too. The dress code is ‘come as you are’, and international heavyweights like Anz, Call Super and Mall Grab welcome you along with Dutch selectors like Philou Louzolou, Naone, and Sarkawt Hamad.

Die Rakete is back for round three at RADION! The creative hub and all-round mysterious venue in Amsterdam serves as the backdrop for an evening stacked with underground hard trance and euro trance. DJs like Bad Boombox, Akemiö Grey, Maryline K, and Rozie will have you stuck to the dance floor all night with their vibrant energy and banging sounds. Saddle up.
Nous’klaer Audio with Massimiliano Pagliara, Oberman, 5 May
When the label founder joins in, you know it’s going to be a good one. Oberman showcases his finest tunes on this all-nighter next to Berghain’s Panorama Bar resident Massimiliano Pagliara. Nous’klaer’s first takeover of BIT Club is set to become one for the books. So, gather connoisseurs, for a night of melancholy on the dance floor.
Music On Festival 2023, 6 & 7 May
Music On assembles all of house music’s darlings in Amsterdam once again on the weekend of May 6 & 7. DJs like Hot Since 82, ANOTR, Joëlla Jackson, and SYREETA kick off the Saturday, and Andrea Oliva, Jamie Jones, and Seth Troxler turn the Meerpark into a house oasis on Sunday along with many others.
