Gilsons - Copenhagen Jazz Festival 2026

The Gilsons build on the legacy of their father and grandfather, Gilberto Gil – one of the leading figures of the iconic Tropicália movement and one of the biggest names in Brazilian popular music (Música Popular Brasileira). The trio was formed in 2018 and represents two generations of one of Brazil’s most beloved musical legends – his son José Gil and his grandsons Francisco and João Gil.
