No discipline seems to escape Poppy when it comes to bringing her artistic vision to life. She is not only a performer, but also a video director, writer of science fiction comic books, and a musician who travels the world. Her musical repertoire ranges from metal breakdowns to sixties bubblegum pop, trap pop, and grunge punk. Like a true chameleon, she knows how to surprise her fans time and time again – and yet every new chapter sounds unmistakably like Poppy. The American artist has been particularly productive in recent years. She toured with Thirty Seconds to Mars, Avenged Sevenfold, and Babymetal, and released successful collaborations with Bad Omens (“V.A.N.”), Knocked Loose (‘Suffocate’), Babymetal (“from me to u”), and with Amy Lee of Evanescence and Courtney LaPlante of Spiritbox (“End of You”). She also continued her musical journey with the release of her fifth album, Negative Spaces, which earned her a Grammy nomination. She recently released the intimate single “Unravel” with its compelling chorus. Poppy is an artist in constant evolution, continually reinventing her musical universe. And she is not afraid to seek inspiration in uncharted territory.
