OR SEBASTIAN brengt met Gay Porn Suite hun eerste EP uit. Een moderne “suite” met mannenporno als thema, als onderdeel van een zoektocht naar identiteit en in hoeverre seks daarvan onderdeel is. Soms grappig, vaak bloedserieus. Verwacht mooie, harmonieuze samenzang op onverwacht poëtische teksten.

We zijn vier multidisciplinaire zangers/performers. Onze kracht ligt in de diverse achtergrond: Dominic en Arnout zijn klassiek geschoolde zangers; Timo heeft een opleiding als maker/performer en als musicalzanger en Felix is een zingende mimer/acteur die qua zangstem meer pop klinkt. Dit maakt de klank van
onze samenzang en van onze composities uniek.

We zongen voor het eerst samen in de “dansopera” 8:Metamorphosis van Nicole Beutler Projects (VSCD Mimeprijs, de internationale ‘Music Theatre Now Award’ en een VSCD Zwaan-nominatie).

We willen voor onze eerste EP onze queer identiteit inzetten als deel van ons geluid, omdat daar onze authenticiteit ligt. De meeste muziek schrijven we zelf; eventuele instrumenten bespelen we ook zelf.

OR SEBASTIAN releases their first EP with Gay Porn Suite. A modern “suite” about male porn, as part of a search for identity and to what extent sex is part of that. Sometimes funny, often deadly serious. Expect beautiful, harmonious singing with unexpectedly poetic lyrics.

We are four multidisciplinary singers/performers. Our strength lies in the diverse background: Dominic and Arnout are classically trained singers; Timo has a training as a maker/performer and as a musical singer and Felix is a singing mimer/actor who sounds more pop in terms of singing voice. This makes the sound ofour singing and of our compositions unique.

We sang together for the first time in the “dance opera” 8:Metamorphosis by Nicole Beutler Projects (VSCD Mime Prize, the international ‘Music Theatre Now Award’ and a VSCD Zwaan nomination). For our first EP, we want to use our queer identity as part of our sound, because that's where our authenticity lies. We write most of the music ourselves; we also play any instruments ourselves.
